Having qualified as a registered nurse in 2009 Michelle has embarked initially on a nursing career undertaking roles within cardiology, gastroenterology, neurological rehabilitation and later working in substance misuse and clinical assessments for the DWP and an insurance company.
Michelle has been a qualified sports massage therapist for two years. Sports massage was initially a side interest due to an enthusiasm in anatomy and physiology. Qualifying for the Level 3 Diploma in 2022, Michelle is now further qualified with a Level 4 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy.
In addition, she has undertaken additional courses such as dry cupping therapy, lower back rehabilitation, shoulder complex treatment and Indian Head Massage. The next courses booked are Manual Lymph Drainage and Hot Stones in November and then her Level 5 Diploma in April 2025.
Michelle decided to embark on a full time career in sports massage and additional therapies in May 2024 (having worked part time for two years) and is now available full time. She works from her own home in a fully equipped and purposely allocated therapy room.
